Midtown is a central neighborhood of Houston, located west-southwest of Downtown. Separated from Downtown by an elevated section of Interstate 45, Midtown is characterized by a continuation of Downtown's square grid street plan, anchored by Main Street and the METRORail Red Line.
At its full capacity, Green Tastes can host a total of FOUR food trucks in a square-like formation opening to the one intended entrance-way facing Chenevert Street. Comfortably, some fifty customers can stand in between this lovely park-like green space.
The park itself doesn't grant customer parking, however, the entire area is allowed free street parking for local park goers and residents. Elizabeth Baldwin Park sits directly across from it, which allows customers additional shaded sitting areas to enjoy their purchases.
Onsite, there is nothing more than the food trucks themselves. However, the E. Baldwin Park across from it hosts weekly events, including the Midtown Farmers Market that is every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
